Naturally-durable eucalypt seedlings

Our seedlings are grown from seed of selected provenances of species that have been identified by Vineyard Timbers as the best performers in the early durable eucalypt trials established in Marlborough from 2003 to 2006.

Vineyard Timber seedlings are grown at Morgans Road Nursery. Their skilled nursery staff work in a 'state-of-the-art' propagation houses that guarantee high quality well developed eucalypt nursery stock. Seedlings are grown in ‘Hillson’ root trainers. These are designed to give forestry seedlings minimal root distortion and maximum active fibrous roots.
